ARM BRACE

This project started as an experiment at making light armour from a piece of heavyweight leather.

As the work progressed it developed into an exercise in designing a protective arm cover that could be used in archery, role play scenarios or anything else that needed this type of structure.

I used a simple lacing method to hold the brace in place - originally I thought of using buckles but I found they couldn't be tightened when you're only using one hand. Hence the easier solution of pulling the lacing tight and wrapping it around a leather "washer".
